After the bridge, we walk through the cobble stone area, where we head to the Sinan Pasha mosque, built in XVI century, who is one of the most important monuments of Ottoman architecture in Prizren.

Passing the other bridge who connects the other part of the city, we will pay a visit to the League of Prizren Museum, one of the most important historic landmarks. This is where one gets to know all about the political and cultural importance of this movement for the region.

After we take our leave from Prizren, we head towards Prishtina where we also stop to have our lunch. Walking to the pedestrian of Prishtina we find ourselves in-between statues of important figures of Albanians. Our first stop is the National Library of Kosovo which is known for its unique history, followed by controversies about the outside appearance of it.

After the library short stop, we go to the Cathedral of Mother Teresa, a huge church that was built in the heart of the town.

By taking a short walk through the pedestrian we go to a typographic sculpture which was created for the formal declaration of independence of Kosova. We then travel to Mavrovo, arriving in the evening for check-in at a ski resort. Enjoy a relaxing dinner and prepare for a day of skiing tomorrow. Giving an end to our first exploration.

After breakfast, we get ready for a half day of skiing at Mavrovo Ski Resort. The resort provides all levels of skiers, with snowboarding and other winter activities available. We can also enjoy a scenic walk or warm up in one of the resort’s cozy cafés.

After, we check out and drive to Skopje. Upon arrival in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia, we visit the Skopje Fortress, perched on a hill overlooking the city. From here, enjoy panoramic views of the capital and learn about its rich history.

Next, we explore Macedonia Square, the heart of Skopje. The square is dominated by a giant statue of Alexander the Great, symbolizing the nation’s pride and history.

We then stroll through the Old Bazaar (Carsija), where Ottoman architecture meets modern-day culture. This area is full of history, with traditional shops, cafes, and mosques.

After exploring Skopje, we drive to Ohrid, a UNESCO World Heritage city, known for its ancient landmarks and beautiful lake. Heading towards the fortress. We park the car nearby and continue on foot. After a few minutes, we reach the fortress, which is located on a hill, offering a view of almost all the attractive spots of the ancient city.

After descending from the fortress, we head to St. John Church. This church is one of Ohrid’s most famous monuments, with a spectacular view, built in a very strategic location. With its Byzantine style, it is one of the city’s icons.

After visiting the fortress, we descend and head towards the Ancient Amphitheater. This 3rd-century BC amphitheater was used for theatrical performances, various games, and as an arena for gladiators.

After a few steps down a cobblestone street, we arrive at this church, one of the most important monuments of Byzantine architecture. Built around the 11th century AD, it is known for its rich history and cultural significance.

After a relatively busy visit to the attractions, we approach the city port. Here, we enjoy beautiful views around the hill where we visited, also known as the Old Town, as well as the boats available for a tour mainly for tourists. Nearby, there are fish restaurants from the lake, where we will have lunch.

The final stop is one of the most famous and important monasteries for the community, as well as for Albanians. This is the St. Naum Monastery, located very close to the Albanian territories and visited year-round. After visiting Ohrid, we head back to Tirana, completing our 3-day adventure across Kosovo, Macedonia, and Albania.
