Between the journey going to Theth, we stop in Shkodra. Here you can enjoy a coffee, make use of a restroom, and even take an early 20-minute casual walk through the city’s pleasant pedestrian street, feeling its lively spirit.
We are still continuing to the Alps; the scenery becomes all the more lush green and mountain on both sides of the valleys. In a village named Bogë, we will ascend up to the magnificent Qafë Thore Pass. At the top, we will stop at Buni i Bajraktarit, which is a good viewpoint both strategic and scenic with very nice panormas. From this very balcony, one will have a view of the surrounding from the restaurant while enjoying the quietness of the alpine- the surrounding alpine environment.
Coming from Qafë Thore, we reach a town called Theth. Fotologs are definitely within the course of this distance, capturing the ecstatic grandness of nature within the course. Adventure enthusiasts will find a special tributary of zip line across further on to the village of Theth, along the journey. From there we went on to Nderlysaj, where our guide parked in the main square. This is where one sees an idyllic river, taking that blue green waters, placid, excellent for sun-soaking or swimming in summer.
Your tutor guides you on an easy trek for about 45 minutes to the Blue Eye. Meanwhile, they coordinate with a restaurant at the town so that lunch orders are all made and prepared maximum by the time you return from the hike. You are advised to go with good hiking shoes, bring only those necessary items, and carry water for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Once you got to the Blue Eye, you will have all the time in the world to admire those hypnotic turquoise waters and unspoilt nature. It’s a place that inspires much photography and contemplation.
After about an hour at the Blue Eye, the group will return together to Nderlysaj, following the same route. For safety during descent, it is necessary to stay close to the group and follow the guide’s instructions regarding behaviors. A meal awaits you back in the village, a warm and freshly made one at the restaurant with varied options such as vegetarian and non-vegetarian.
Post-lunch, we head off to Theth Village. Here, you will visit the ancient church and the nowadays notorious The Isolated House (Kulla e Ngujimit)- a cultural-historical site that portrays the unique traditions of the area.

I can't describe that unforgettable journey in simple words.
I am Noah and I am from Australia and I want to write my impression. Our guide Angelo wrote to us one day before the trip to leave a schedule to come and pick us up at our hotel. very correct and on the way he started to explain to us briefly about the day how we would spend it and after stopping at the gas station, he invited me and my wife for coffee where he offered us coffee and for us it was something unexpected. After coffee, we set off and along the way he was always careful, asking us if we were comfortable, or if we wanted a bottle of water. After passing the city of Shkodra, we found ourselves on a narrow road, although with asphalt, but the panorama that this amazing landscape gave us made us forget that we had a narrow road, although Angelo was a very careful driver. We climbed the village of Boga and Qafe Thore, stopping on a balcony at Buni i Bajraktarit, with a view that you won’t find anywhere else. After a short break and taking some unique photos, we went down to the village of Theth. The village is very beautiful. Then we entered a very small village called Nderlysaj, where we parked the car and started hiking for about 40 minutes and managed to see the blue eye, a miracle. After about 1 hour we went down again to Nderlysaj where a lunch with fresh and traditional food awaited us. Then on the way back we stopped in the village of Theth, where we were amazed by the unique view of the old church of the village, as well as the tower of seclusion. A day not to be forgotten. I promised our guide that we would come back to explore even more around Albania.
